Ms. Owusu is a legal practitioner specializing in corporate and commercial law, investment law, financial law, real estate and project construction management and advocacy. She is the co-founder of Lawconsortium a legal firm in Accra which was set up in November 2004 and is currently the Manager and Head of Chambers.
As a corporate law specialist, Ms. Owusu has been significantly involved in the structuring of several corporate and financial transactions. Ms. Owusu’s experience in the corporate law department at Social Security and National Insurance Trust, saw her giving general advise in relation to all legal issues pertaining to the Trust, preparing legal opinions on various investment of the Trust, drafting and reviewing various legal agreements e.g. joint venture agreements, escrow agreements, syndication information memorandum, share sale and purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, and advising on corporate and commercial law matters as well as financial law matters in which the Trust was involved with local and international partners.
Ms. Owusu has also been consulted on mergers and acquisition matters and has conducted legal due diligence work on target companies as well as legal audits. She has also acted as legal advisor for post – acquisition regulatory approvals for an investor in a major bank. Ms. Owusu has also acquired a lot of expertise in corporate governance issues and has been company secretary to a number of broads for various companies and also served as secretary to various broad- subcommittees. Ms. Owusu has also served as a board member of an energy related authority.
In financial law practice, Ms. Owusu joined the now UBA (Ghana) Limited when it first started operations in Ghana as Standard Trust Bank as their legal officer and was instrumental in the setting up of its legal department and drafting its banking agreements for implementation and usage. Ms. Owusu has also had considerable experience in loan recovery and restructuring and represents various banks in court in these matters.
In real estate law and project management practice, she is currently the project co-ordinator for a real estate development company in a project worth over US$10m and is responsible for all legal issues relating thereto and the drafting of relevant documentation including the perfection of all lands acquired for development. Apart from her work as a solicitor and consultant Ms. Owusu is a practicing barrister and has represented various clients both individuals and companies in court on a myriad of cases.
She has also attended various Seminars and Workshops such as the Banking School Program, Workshops on Procurement Act of Ghana, International Project Procurement and Contract Negotiation Seminar, Workshop on the Labour Act of Ghana (Act 651) And Workshop on Mergers, Acquisitions and Buyouts. She is also an Active Member of the Ghana Bar Association and has participated in various continuing Legal Education Seminars Organized by the Ghana Bar Association.
Ms. Owusu’s achievements include receiving Cecilia Koranteng-Addo’s prize for the Best Female Student with the best all round performance in Parts I & II Professional Law Examinations, Prize for Best Student in Law of Evidence, Best Student in Commercial (Insurance) Law and Best Student in Legal Ethics and Advocacy, after passing the Professional Law Course in 1997.
Ms. Owusu is currently a Tutorial Master in Legal Ethics and Advocacy at the Ghana Law School, Accra Main Campus.

Miss Priscilla Agudey is a legal practitioner admitted to practice law before all courts in Ghana as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana, specializing in corporate and commercial law, litigation and advocacy. She is an Associate of Lawconsortium, a private legal Firm in Accra which was set up in November 2004. Priscilla joined the Firm in September 2021.
Priscilla is a self-motivated, productive, versatile, confident, spirited solicitor and pro-active person, able to work independently and as part of a team. She believes in planning, leading, organizing and coordinating with other people to achieve set goals. She is able to work with moderate to little supervision.
As a practicing corporate and commercial lawyer, Miss Agudey has been significantly involved in advising on several corporate and financial transactions. Since she joined the Firm, Miss. Agudey has gained hands on experience in the corporate law matters as she has proffered a number of legal opinions, giving general advise in relation to corporate and financial transactions, drafting and reviewing various legal agreements e.g. joint venture agreements, share sale and purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, and advising on corporate and commercial law matters to diverse range of clients including Multinationals, Financial Institutions, and Global Brands.
Miss Agudey has also worked on mergers and acquisition matters and has conducted legal due diligence work on target companies as well as legal audits. Priscilla has also had considerable experience in loan recovery and restructuring and represents various banks in court in these matters as part of the Firm’s portfolio.
She has also, gained some considerable knowledge in insurance law since the Firm represents a number of insurance companies in many cases in court and at the National Insurance Commission (NIC),
Apart from her work as a solicitor Miss Agudey is a practicing barrister and has represented various clients both individuals and companies in the High Court through to the Supreme Court on a myriad of cases.
She is also an Active Member of the Ghana Bar Association and has participated in various continuing Legal Education Seminars Organized by the Ghana Bar Association.
